Step aside, I got this!

HOLA! The Tacna update- this week we have seen so many little miracles! Monday we went out contacting and found some golden new investigators! The bishop recently called a new ward mission leader- brother Chiroque. He got back from his mission just 6 months ago and is whipping us into to shape! Its awesome! He accompanied us to several lessons with the new investigators and we are so excited to see their progress! Hno Eduardo teaches self defense and cross fit and is passing through lots of problems in his family and he is searching for the truth! Hna Milena served a catholic mission, but after teaching the BOM, she invited us to her house to watch he movie Joseph Smith, prophet of the Restoration. Afterwards she told us, "Many people say that the Mormons have another Bible, but thats not true! The Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ..."  Hno Sami listened to the missionaries in Venezuela, and after teaching him about the BOM, he remember his experience reading it and receiving an answer from God that it was true! The field is white!!! And Hna Maria Jesus was baptized this week! She is so awesome! Got up in front of everyone and declared that this was the true church of Jesus Christ! And has been making her friends listen to the missionaries ehehehe

Alma2214 And since man had afallen he could not bmerit anything of himself; but the sufferings and cdeath of Christ datone for their sins, through faith and repentance, and so forth; and that he breaketh the bands of death, that the egrave shall have no victory, and that the sting of death should be swallowed up in the hopes of glory; and Aaron did expound all these things unto the king.

Christs sacrifice for us is what gives our lives value. If it wasn't for the Atonement, none of our efforts to improve, change, repent would matter. But because He knew our potential, He came down to give us the opportunity to become like Him. Other crazy miracles from the hospital last week- I only had 50 soles on me.... and it ended up costing about 10 times that... and while I was out of it in the hospital bed. My companion was freaking out trying to figure out what to do and one of the Elders from my district told her "Step aside, I got this". And Christ has done the same. He paid the price that we could not pay. The price to take away that gut wrenching pain. I love my Savior and so very grateful for all that I am learning of Him! Love you all!
