Faith of a little boy
Hey Y'all ;)
We had an interesting experience this week while teaching our 10 year old investigator, Marco Antonio. My companion was explaining the principle that faith includes action, and invited him to move the water bottle in my backpack with his faith. (Implying that he would act, taking the water bottle from my backpack and placing it next to the wall) But what happened next I wasn't expecting- instead of grabbing it, or asking us what to do, he immediately closed his eyes and with all the intensity a 10 year old could muster, he prayed. You can imagine my companion and I were unsure of what to do- leave the bottle there and crush his faith or move it ourselves. But I couldn't do it so I stuck it next to the wall. He opened his eyes. There was a quiet confidence in his gaze. He knew the bottle would be there. The faith of this little boy is incredible. (He reads all the extra references in the pamphlets and looks up the def of words like Expiacion etc... so impressive) But as I was pondering on this experience, the words that my mother always shared came into my mind,
"The Lord hears and answers our prayers, but it is often through other people that He meets our needs"
He heard the prayer of little Marco Antonio. He hears each one of our prayers. We have the potential to be the answers to so many prayers.
Really every moment in our lives is an answer to prayers!
Love you all!
Sorry no photos this week- cam not working
