Hola from Tacna!

HOLA FROM TACNA! It has been a crazy week! I really couild say that about every week and every day on the mission but this week was full of surprises :) On Wednesday Hna Cabezas came to Tacna to be my new companion. She is from Bolivia :) Super crazy, loving and hard working so I am excited for what we will do here! We have already seen so many miracles! Yesterday we had a wonderful experience with Hna Frida- her husband is a less active member but through him she was able to meet with the missionaries in January. She is a very spiritually sensitive person- even to the point that when she investigated other churches- she stood up to the pastor who was de declaring things she knew were not true. She loves the Book of Mormon and she and her husband have started reading together. (Seriously reminds me of the Robles family on the district hehe) Every lesson we have had with her she loved but we couldn't get her to commit to a baptismal date. However, the Lord makes all things possible! It was so incredible to talk with her and help her realize the testimony that she had and how the Lord had been communicating with her. It was just Satan that wanted her to question al of the answers, feelings and promptings she had received. And when she understood that- she was one of the happiest people I have ever seen! (And we were so happy for her!) Satan work so hard so that we doubt the revelation we receive from God, even that we question the love that God has for us. But "the deepest love comes when we are one with God" because our Heavenly Father loves us so profoundly, so perfectly, so personally that even though we are separated from Him, we can feel His love. One of my favorite movies is Interstellar- and a quote that impacted me was that "love transcends all dimensions". God s love for us transcends the barriers of time, or space. "I know my Heavenly Father loves me". That we can feel the love of our Father in heaven is a testimony to me that He lives and He loves us so very much! I know that He know and loves us very personally. And in the BD I found something interesting under miracles: that the law of love make possible miracles of healing that supersedes lower laws physically emotionally and spiritually. It is the love of our Father that makes us whole! I love you all so much! Have a great week!
