Tacna and back

Hey folks!

It one crazy ride this week- literally. Monday I traveled 7 hours to Tacna, Wed we took the bus another 7 hours back to Arequipa for a conference and then Thursday after the conf we headed straight back the 7 hours to Tacna. The mission is full of adventures. Luckily after all of the family road trip, squished in the backseat with 2 sibling and our dog a Peruvian bus is nothing. bahahaha We have been out of town a few days this week so I am still pretty new in the area but it is great here! We had a powerful lessons with our investigator Martin and he is preparing for his baptismal interview! Ive really only talked with him once but I am so excited for him!!!
This week I have been thinking a lot about the power of our personal studies. As I was thinking over the most recent messages the prophet has shared with us, I realized that each one has invited us to seek personal revelation in our personal studies and communication with The Lord. Pres. Nelsons invitation to study the names of Christ, later his invitation to read the BOM )and analyze what we would or would not know without it and finally his last talk about seeking revelation. while reading PMGIÇ I found and interesting question, What were the results of the personal study of Joseph Smith? and I thought to myself, what would my life, the mission, or really the world be like if I , and we all, studied in this way? Food for thought but I hope you all have an amazing week! LOVE YOU!
