5th Grade Science Class

WOW! What an incredible week! First off, this week I got to cross a few things off my bucket list including trying fish eggs and deep fried hamster (with ketchup of course). But even more incredible than deep fried hamster with real Heinz ketchup was the opportunity to hear from living day prophets and apostles! There was such a powerful spirit when we sustained Pres. Nelson and I KNOW he is a prophet of God! I have been pondering over the many messages about personal revelation, and my eyes caught the attention of my transparent, multi colored stickies that I use to mark my scriptures. When placed overlapping, it produces a different color. Yellow and green- blue... (Studying prayer in context of the Atonement, or prayer in context of faith brings more and different meaning) and I was reminded of one of my classes at BYU that encouraged us to use different fields of study to analyze. For example- use music theory to understand more about physics. Really interesting.. haha but  I thought about Pres. Nelsons address about the scientific method. 1st Observe- observe blessings or patterns in the scriptures 2. Hypothesize- meditate, write our thoughts and feelings 3. Experiment 4. Record 5. Share! Ive got to go but I love you all!
