The Book of Mormon

HEYYY! It been one grand week here in Buenos Aires. Lots of incredible experiences with investigators. There are so many valiant people down here. Hna Ada was baptized this week against all of the opposition of her parents and family. A few tears this week, happy tears, sad tears, and all of that good stuff but God is so good! Satan is working so hard with our investigators, and especially with their parents, but it has been so incredible to see their testimonies of the BOM. Hna Mirella is facing a lot of opposition but she has a firm testimonio- broke down crying and gave me the biggest hug when she explained her feeling about this holy book. I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON!

P.S. This week I (Mom) asked Laura why she reads the Book of Mormon and I wanted to share her reply...

Don't even get me started on the BOM bahahaha I could say so many things. In our past conf Hna Johnson asked me to give a talk about the role the BOM played in conversion in my investigators.. and I could go on and on hahaha but some of my favorite passages about why I read the BOM:

1 Nephi 15:23-25- there are HUGE promises in the BOM and from modern day prophets about the power the BOM has to fight temptation. I love the conf talk about the man who in his childhood didnt want to have fam scrip study... and his mom replied that she had promises that if they read every day, that she wouldnt lose them. So I make sure all of my converts know that I will be bugging them about the BOM until the day I die, because if they are reading every day, I know they will be ok.

Alma 37:40-46 The Book Of Mormon answers my most difficult questions, even questinos I dont consciousy aknowledge. Its amazing how the BOM can uncover and and heal our biggest worries ,questions.... It is our guide in the wilderness. Many times I hit points where I have no idea what to do, or how to in the world the BOM could guide me in certain decsions or questions, but I have seen how when I study dilligently and with faithfully, the Spirit work to shape answers and direction out of the pages I read. 

The Book of Mormon is key to conversion. If we don't have a testimony of the BOM, we don't have a testimony of the Restored gospel. 

I love the BOM for what I FEEL when I read! IT IS SO POWERFUL.And if you are not reading the BOM every day, even if it is one verse, DO IT NOW. Because I love you and want your salvation, please read the BOM.
