Letter from September 18th - this is out of order-- sorry!

WOW. We've had a great week here in Mollendo. The seasons are changing and the sun is coming up! We've seen the sun three days this week! WOOT WOOT.  On Sunday (double points if you caught that pun hahaha)  we visited a family whose daughter had just come home from her mission due to an injury with her leg. Her dad is not a member and as we sat down in their living room to teach a lesson we bumped into her uncle, Javier who agreed to listen to our lesson about the Restoration. And now we've had three lessons and he is preparing for his baptism! It is such a testimony that the Lord knows exactly what He is doing and is in every single detail of our lives. It's Brilliant.

Another one of our investigators is Alonso, the football player. He comes from a really rough background and lives with his mother who is a less active drug addict. But it has been incredible to see the desire he has to move forward and change-- To learn more about Christ. Also dunny moment when he told me knew English and could understand what I had said in English. AND THEN WE had a conversation in English. And it was so bizarre. bajaja but he really opened up about his life as an orphan, escaping, and life afterward..

I love getting to know the people in here and I LOVE TEACHING AND TESTIFYING OF CHRIST. I know that He lives, that He loves EACH of us perfectly and personally . He understands every affliction. And the Holy Ghost testifies of this truth. Love you all and hope you have a great week!
