June 7th--- and this is out of order, but I didn't know how to get it where it belonged... Be the Leaf

Hola!

This week has been yet another incredible week in the CCM! I started to question whether or not I had heartburn because my heart has always been burning with the Spirit! In the devotional we watched last night one of my favorite quotes was, "When you dont know what to say, testify of Christ" I LOVE IT! 

This week I was reminded how very much I depend on Christ. Classes were going well, lessons were going well, language was going well... And then on Sunday I was sitting under a tree next to a beautiful fountain I reached up to grab a bright green leaf, and at that same moment a shriveled brown one fell to my left and it hit me. I was the leaf, and Christ was the living water, the fountain from which I drew strength. When we try to do things without Him, we end up like the hard, shriveled brown leaf. No matter how much sunlight water or air we have we cannot grow nor take in more life if we cut ourself off from our Savior! I know the Savior lives!
