Javier and taxi adventures

HOLA FROM PERU!

It's been a crazy few weeks here in Mollendo. Yesterday I traveled to Arequipa to finish some documents for my residency here in Peru. So I left solo from Mollendo and stayed in the mission home, woke up early the next morning to do paperwork, then traveled back to Mollendo. Earlier in the week we had divisiones in Camana so we squished in a taxi and took the 1.5 hour trip on a road equivalent to the Beartooth Pass on steroids. SUCH AN ADVENTURE. haha

The previous week we had the baptism of Javier!! We are so happy for him and his progress! Our Rama had a huge activity for their day of independance and each organization prepared dances, musical numbers and our pensionista whipped out picarrones for 4 hours straight. She is the best. I love it here in Mollendo. MY companion is incredible and I have learned so much here in the small town of Mollendo. I know this is the Lord´s work and I love it! Hope you all have a great week! 

Apparently we are having cow heart for dinner tonight so you´ll have some pics to look forward too!
