I meant it with every bit of my soul
wow.
The days are just packed. And flying by. In one week I will be hitting the streets of Arequipa. This final week has been really special here in the CCM. On Saturday they took our district out proselyting. I was given two new companions and we got to work. Holy cows. The people of Peru are incredible. Everyone that we talked to, every single person we talked to had faith in Christ.
One of my favorite experiences from the day was with a mother. We were walking down the steep dusty streets and saw some children playing soccer outside a small metal shack. After throwing down an invisible lightsaber battle with the kids we knocked on the side of the door and met their sweet, sweet mother. We talked to her about her faith in Christ, asked if we could share a message which she agreed to and then shared Helaman 5:12. I remember looking into her eyes and seeing my mother. I saw her worries, and I saw the hardship and struggles of her life in that small humble home. And I testified of the Savior who is my Rock and my Redeemer. And I know that probably most of what I said did not make sense. But when I looked into her eyes I knew that she knew that I meant it with every bit of my soul. I know that Christ is our Savior. I have not seen angels or received visions, but I know.
