Heaven would not be heaven without family
Hola!
The weeks are flying by here in Mollendo! Yesterday we had an area conference with Elder Cook. One of my favorite parts what a quote by Pres. Uceada - Salvation is individual but Exaltation is with family! SO TRUE. Heaven would not be heaven without family. One of the hardest parts about being here in Peru has been seeing how few people have solid, happy families. It breaks my heart. But I am so grateful to share the gospel of Jesus Christ that TRULY BLESSES FAMILIES. Milagros and her sons made it to the meeting and are excited for their baptism on Saturday!! We found another golden family here in Mollendo and our first lesson lasted almost three hours. The mother is was baptized almost 30 years ago and the family is making a goal to be sealed in the temple! this morning we set a date for the father to be baptized!
As far as other news- Our companionship is now a trio! We just got back from picking up Hna. Bernachea from the terminal. It is going to be a fiesta here in Mollendo! I am excited to get to know and learn from her! Also, Cow is surprisingly delicious. We should really eat more of it in the states. I hope you are all doing well!
